Thanks to everyone who visited our rooms at Capital Audiofest. We have had lots of amazing feedback from the show, and have included some of the feedback below.
Tracking Angle: Michael Fremer visited most of the YG rooms and had kind words on many of them.
YG especially made a play for the ears and hearts—not to mention the wallets—of Capital Audio Festival attendees by demoing a wide range of its speakers from the lower priced to the next to the top XX model. Despite the small rooms in which they showed, the sound was exceptional in every room…
this is the best sounding room that I've heard… the most fun and the best sounding room and if somebody had the money, they walk in here and hear this system and just buy it and take it home they would be very happy campers
Michael Fremer - Tracking Angle
In his video he was particularly pleased with the Hailey 3 paired with Air-Tight electronics. You can watch the video here.
INDULGR: The INDULGR team visited several of our rooms, with very positive comments on each. They were particularly impressed with the XX speakers which "have unlimited potential". Read more here.
EnjoyTheMusic.com: Rick Becker started his CAF roundup on the 8th floor and we hope he will cover the lower floors in later postings. He enjoyed both Sonja 3.3 with Bel Canto Black and the Hailey 3 with Vinnie Rossi BRAMA Gen 2 Integrated systems.. Read more here.
Audio Resurgence: We were awarded their best in show award--many thanks! See video here.
Stereophile: Julie Mullins enjoyed the Sonja 3.3 with Bel Canto Black electronics. Read more here.
Despite the massive presence of the Sonja 3.3 three-ways, they performed beautifully within the smallish hotel room, avoiding any sonic overload.
The sweet strains of Bird’s five-string violin came through as pure in timbre as I’ve ever heard them on playback. Microdynamic details came through that made vocals and instruments sound nuanced and natural.
Julie Mullins, Stereophile
Audiophile Junkie: Jason and his friends visited several of our rooms and came away impressed. We are mentioned in several videos, but here is the show wrap-up video.
They have always been one of the top manufacturers but I think they're even elevating themselves, and distancing themselves, from a lot of competitors in that ballpark...

stereotimes.com: Bill Wells and Moreno Mitchell did a tour of many of the rooms at CAF. You can read their full report here.
The sound and cohesiveness produced by this setup created a wonderful sense of synergy from top to bottom, including the free-flowing and organic midrange with excellent musical color. In terms of the bass, the sound went deep with excellent control and articulation, as well as superb power and dynamics. Beyond this, there was a high degree of open, clear sound with a very extended top end. While playing various music, this system sang beautifully and yielded positive results each time.
