We are proud to report that Robert Hailey has reviewed the Vantage Live in the October 2022 issue of The Absolute Sound.
If you’ve ever put on a direct-to-disc LP and heard a sudden increase in that sense of presence, of the removal of “something” between you and the music, you have an idea of how Vantage Live sounds. The Vantage Live has a crystalline clarity, a dynamic verve, and an immediacy that are striking, much in the way a direct-to-disc LP exhibits those characteristics.

We are pleased to announce audiodrom.net has just reviewed our Sonja 2.3𝑖.
I absolutely fell in love with the double bass through the YG, mainly because under their command it was a truly acoustic instrument, without euphonic amplification, without any added audiophile candy, and without the – often attractive – super tightness. It was very real, and I dare say it was the most faithful (not to say the most attractive) playback of a double bass I have ever heard through any audio system.

We are pleased to report that the Sonja 2.3 has been awarded the The Absolute Sound 2022 Editors Choice Award in the category $100,000 and Up.
Sonically, the Sonja 2.3 delivers world-class performance, with a spectacular sense of presence, transparency to sources, and palpability. Its bass is extended, powerful, and articulate. Its overall coherence, as well as its ability to portray a wide range of image sizes, is exceptional.

We are delighted to report that Kirk Midtskog has reviewed the DC2 crossover update for the Sonja 2.2𝑖 in The Absolute Sound.
YG’s DC2 crossover improves the Sonja 2.2i’s overall sound quality more than I imagined was possible, and I presume similar or greater improvements are conferred on the upper Sonja models, as well. It is as if a key piece of a building were put in place, and the integrity of the entire structure became more robust.

We are thrilled to announce that the Sonja 2.2 has won The Absolute Sound Editors Choice Award for 2022 in the range $50,000 to $100,000.
What has been added sonically to the 1.2’s already superb performance is even greater resolution, ease, and general felicity. The Sonja 2.2 is a speaker that serves the music, no matter what kind. A major achievement.

YG continues to remain at the forefront of the highly competitive ultra high-end loudspeaker segment. Perhaps the greatest evidence of this are the numerous awards we received this year by some of the world's leading high-end audio publications. We are proud to have received them. Below is a link to a compilation of these awards:
We are happy to announce that YG Acoustics Vantage has awarded “Outstanding Overall Performance Award 2020” by Super AV magazine in China.
Chris Martens concluded his review by saying, “They offer much of the sonic excellence of YG’s terrific Hailey 2.2 loudspeakers, but at just 70% of the Hailey 2.2 price. What is more, in the right small-to-medium-sized rooms and played at sensible volume levels, sonic differences between the Hailey 2.2 and the Vantage become very difficult to discern. Vive laVantage”.
“The Hailey 2.2 gets so much right and offers so much trickled-down technology that one could make a compelling argument it represents the performance/price sweet spot in the YG line. It actually comes pretty darn close in overall performance to the next model- up Sonja 2.2 in bass extension, dynamic range, and sound staging.”
